Our Donor Pledge

At Mid-Shore Community Foundation, we will follow these steps:

Discover what our donors want to accomplish with their gift.

Present various options to help them discover a plan that will not only accomplish their objective but also do it in a better way than they thought possible.

Take all the time needed to explore and answer every question and concern.

Endeavor to protect our donors from making gifts that will place them in financial jeopardy.

Work closely with their advisors or assist in finding the appropriate professional needed.

Encourage every donor to review his or her gift plan with counsel before signing an irrevocable document.

Every gift, each donor name and all information received is considered confidential.

We know that every gift received is a gift of community love. We also know that donors are investing in a quality of life, and want their financial gift(s) to help make a difference in their community. By following these guidelines, the staff and volunteers of Mid-Shore Community Foundation will ensure that all donors make well-informed decisions, while helping them turn their vision into reality.
