George B. Todd Fund Donates to Dorchester County Historical Society

The Dorchester County Historical Society (DCHS) received a check today for $20,000 from the George B. Todd Fund administered through the Mid-Shore Community Foundation (MSCF). Present for the occasion were, from the left, MSCF President F. Graham Lee, DCHS President Doug Robbins, MSCF George B. Todd Fund Committee member Jim Middleton, DCHS Capital Campaign Chairman Tom Collins, and Chairman of Ways and Means Committee Pat Neild. “We’re very happy to receive these funds and they are going to be used for our new facility, our new museum,” DCHS Doug Robbins said. He added that “construction of the half-million dollar addition to the LaGrange Plantation could start in a few weeks.”
