Grants
The Mid-Shore Community Foundation is one of the largest grant makers in the
region. Through our many different
types of funds, we support a variety of granting and scholarship programs.


Deadlines, Process and Response Time
As a community foundation, we involve community members in our grantmaking decisions by inviting them to serve on our Grants Committee, which meets at least quarterly.
Grants are awarded during 2 grant cycles each year. Requests are accepted at any time, but should be submitted with the following deadlines in mind:

Nonprofit, governmental or other public groups interested in applying
for grants are invited to submit an application.
Applicants are not required to use MSCF’s form,
but are asked to include all information requested there in their
request. All applications must include a complete set of current
financial statements, a project budget, a copy of your IRS tax determination
letter (if changed or not on file at MSCF), and a list of current Board
Members.
The Foundation will only accept one grant request from an organization during a 12-month period.
Grant recipients will be required to submit a comprehensive final report on the project or program no later than one year after the grant is awarded.
