The Mid-Shore Community Foundation is one of the largest grantmakers in the region.  Through its many types of funds, it supports a variety of programs.

Grants From The Community Foundation.  Grants are awarded to 501(c)(3) public charities in the Mid-Shore Region through an open application process.  There is one (1) grant cycle per year and the submission deadline is October 1st.  To apply, download and complete the grant application.  Completed grant applications should be mailed to the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, 102 East Dover Street, Easton, MD 21601.  Applications will be reviewed by the Grants Committee and the Board approves all grant decisions.

Grants From Philanthropists.  Additionally, grants are awarded from our Donor Advised Funds.  These Funds do not accept requests. Grant distributions are recommended by the Fund Advisors. The Foundation supports collaborative grantmaking initiatives and by submitting a grant application, you give the Foundation permission to share your application with Fund Advisors who may have interest in funding your project/organization.
