The Dorchester Education Foundation Fund is a component fund of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation that provides economic support to educators in Dorchester County Public Schools.

Have you ever wanted to create a new ‘best practice’ or attempt an innovative idea to support classroom instruction but lacked funding to proceed with your idea?  Welcome to the Dorchester Education Foundation!

Educators in Dorchester County Public Schools are invited to apply for grant funding from the Dorchester Education Foundation. The Dorchester Education Foundation is currently funding grants up to $1,000 for innovative projects for the 2025-2026 school year. Applications are due by January 12th. You will be notified by February 1st.
