Mid-Shore Community Foundation Grants
Mid-Shore Community Foundation is one of the largest grant makers in the region and through its many funds, the Foundation supports a variety of programs. Many of the Foundation’s grants are awarded through funds that were established for specific purposes and do not accept requests – grants are recommended by the donor or designated fund advisor, in accordance with the fund’s establishing criteria. All other grants are awarded through an application process.
Grant Application Process
The Foundation awards grants to Mid-Shore nonprofits through an online grant application. There is one grant cycle per year. The application opens on July 1st and closes on October 1st. Applications are reviewed and considered by the Foundation’s Grants Committee, and then shared with funds that may have an interest in supporting the project. Applicants are notified of funding decisions after the close of the fiscal year (June 30). To apply, create an account/login to the Grants Application Portal and complete the Mid-Shore Community Foundation’s Grant Application.
