Donor Advised Funds

Donor Advised Funds allow donors to easily and effectively manage their giving. They provide many of the advantages of a private foundation, but with smaller asset requirements and without the costly and time consuming administrative responsibilities.

You can establish a Donor Advised Fund at the Mid-Shore Community Foundation with a gift of cash, securities, or other property valued at $10,000 or more. You determine the name of your fund and choose the organizations or causes you wish to support. Contributions to the fund are tax deductible and you may add to the fund at any time.

The Foundation handles all administrative requirements - we manage the fund assets, process your grant recommendations, and issue quarterly financial reports on the status of the fund.
