Scholarships for Nontraditional Students

Mid-Shore Community Foundation awards scholarships to nontraditional students (students who are not graduating from high school this academic year), in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties, who are continuing their education through degree or certificate programs, seminars, workshops, or customized training.

Scholarship Application for Nontraditional Students

The Foundation awards scholarships to nontraditional students through a pooled scholarship application - students complete one online application in consideration for all scholarships to which they meet eligibility. All applications are reviewed and considered by the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee. There are two application review periods per year.

Fall Review
Applications submitted July 1st - December 31st are considered for the fall review.
Applicants are notified of funding decisions in January.

Spring Review
Applications submitted January 1st - June 30th are considered for the spring review.
Applicants are notified of funding decisions in July.

To apply, create an account/login to the Scholarship Application Portal and complete the “Application for Nontraditional Students”.
