Grant Funding

Mid-Shore Community Foundation is one of the largest grant makers in the region and through its many funds, the Foundation supports a variety of programs. Many of the Foundation’s grants are awarded through funds that were established for specific purposes and do not accept requests – grants are recommended by the donor or designated fund advisor, in accordance with the fund’s establishing criteria. All other grants are awarded through our Discretionary Grant application process.

Discretionary Grants

In Fiscal Year 2027, the Grants Committee will place particular emphasis on supporting programs that meet basic human needs within our five-county region.
