Mid-Shore Community Foundation Grants
Mid-Shore Community Foundation is one of the largest grant makers in the region and through its many funds, the Foundation supports a variety of programs. Many of the Foundation’s grants are awarded through funds that were established for specific purposes and do not accept requests – grants are recommended by the donor or designated fund advisor, in accordance with the fund’s establishing criteria. All other grants are awarded through an application process.
The Foundation awards grants to Mid-Shore nonprofits through an open application process. There is one grant cycle per year. The application opens on July 1st and closes on October 1st. Applications are reviewed and considered by the Foundation’s Grants Committee and then shared with fund advisors - applications are considered for multiple funding opportunities. Applicants are notified of funding decisions after the close of the fiscal year (June 30). To apply, create an account/login to the Online Grants Portal and complete the application.
The Foundation also manages the grant application for several funds and organizations, each with unique funding priorities and application deadlines. Current funding opportunities: George B. Todd Fund Grants and Wesleyan Heritage Foundation Fund Grants.
